Ropers Majeski Kohn & Bentley, P.C. (RMKB) is pleased to announce that Mhare Mouradian has joined the firm as a partner in its Los Angeles office. He was previously with Clark & Trevithick, APC in Los Angeles.
Mouradian joins RMKB’s Transactional Group and will focus on corporate, real estate and insurance services. His clients span businesses in a variety of industries, including entertainment, technology and transportation, as well as individuals. He is also a seasoned litigator, with particular experience in the areas of business, commercial, contracts, and products liability law.
“Mhare’s experience makes him a great fit for the firm,” said Michael Ioannou, Chairman of RMKB. “His addition complements our corporate and transactional group, as well as our established litigation practice. He brings his insight from both the litigation and transactional aspects of matters, providing well-rounded representation to his clients.”
Successfully representing numerous businesses, Mouradian’s clients have included luxury commercial centers, international and local technology companies, and entertainment and media companies. Most recently, he was published in the Association of Business Trial Lawyers Report, Summer 2016 issue, with an article entitled, “Contracts in Today’s Sharing Economy: Limitation of Liability Clauses Have Come A Long Way,” where he addressed the limitation of liability clauses for sharing economy companies, such as Uber and Airbnb.
Mouradian has volunteered extensively in the greater Los Angeles area, providing pro bono legal advice for the various legal clinics via the Los Angeles County Bar Association and other public organizations. He has also volunteered for the Compton Initiative, a nonprofit organization committed to bringing hope and restoration to that city through beautification projects, and he has served as “principal for a day” at Arleta High School in Van Nuys.
Selected by his peers as a 2016 “Southern California Super Lawyer,” Mouradian is rated as an “AV-Preeminent” attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, (J.D., 2003) and the University of San Francisco (B.A., 1997).
