Ropers Majeski Kohn & Bentley, P.C. (RMKB), a multi-service law firm offering litigation and transactional services nationally and internationally, has added attorney Mitchell S. Kim as partner in its Los Angeles office. He joins from Litchfield Cavo LLP in Pasadena, Calif., where he was partner.

His presence bolsters our commercial litigation offerings,” said Michael Ioannou, Chairman of RMKB. “In addition, we are pleased to strengthen our connection to the Korean-American business community, where Mitch is a true leader through his active involvement and pro bono legal services.”

Kim joins RMKB’s Business and Commercial Litigation practice. He regularly tries bench and jury trials for Fortune 500 companies in matters involving a range of commercial law issues, including copyright, trademark, product liability, complex commercial liability defense, retail and employment. In addition, Kim serves as outside counsel for numerous private companies of varying size.

Active in the Korean-American community – and fluent in Korean – Kim provides pro bono counseling to the Korean American Apparel Manufacturers Association and is a member of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce – Orange County, the Orange County Korean American Bar Association and the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California. He is also a member of the board of directors for the Alhambra Police Foundation, a member of the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

A Pasadena Magazine “Top Attorney” since 2014, Kim was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2018 and featured in the Korea Times as well as Los Angeles magazine. He is a graduate of Southwestern Law School (J.D., 2010) and the University of California, Los Angeles (B.A., 2006).
