EXPERIENCE

Allan E. Anderson is the Resident Director of the Los Angeles office. Mr. Anderson is a litigation partner licensed in California, New York and Washington D.C. Mr. Anderson is a business litigator with a practice involving entertainment, manufacturing, real estate, employment, and technology issues. Mr. Anderson’s practice involves intellectual property issues related to trademark,  trade secrets,  copyright, patent infringement, trade dress and false advertising. Mr. Anderson successfully litigated a District Court action establishing that his client was protected by the safe harbor provision of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Hendrickson v. Amazon.com (C.D. Cal. 2003) 298 F. Supp. 2d 914.

Mr. Anderson has been awarded the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell and maintains membership in the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. Mr. Anderson was selected for inclusion in Southern California Super Lawyers® in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2006 and 2004, for Business Litigation. Mr. Anderson has tried cases at the Superior Court and Federal Court levels throughout the state of California. He is a registered Foreign Solicitor in Hong Kong and has also litigated cases in Hong Kong.

Although living in Southern California, Mr. Anderson is a fourth generation native of the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been with the firm since graduation from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1987. Mr. Anderson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California at Berkeley.
