EXPERIENCE

Annie Rian received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oregon in 2005 with a dual major in General Science and Philosophy and a minor in Organic Chemistry. In 2008, she received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. In 2009, Ms. Rian also obtained her license from the United States Patent and Trademark Office to practice as a Patent Attorney.

Throughout law school, Ms. Rian actively participated in public service and public interest activities. During all the years, Ms. Rian served on the board of the Oregon Law Student’s Public Interest Fund and served as a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. During her final year of law school, Ms. Rian served as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, where she assisted in the review and drifting of numerous federal court opinions.

During her practice at Ropers Majeski Kohn & Bentley, Ms. Rian's primary focus has been entertainment litigation, assisting in jury trials, bench trials, mediation and arbitration of numerous entertainment cases. 

Ms. Rian’s practice areas include entertainment law, business litigation, intellectual property litigation and real estate litigation.
