Diane Fazzolari

EXPERIENCE

Diane Fazzolari concentrates her practice in complex insurance coverage and defense.  Ms. Fazzolari handles matters involving legal malpractice, professional liability, directors and officers, and commercial general liability.  Ms. Fazzolari practices both in state and federal court.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Fazzolari was posted as a secondee in Markel International’s London office wherein she advised on claim handling, trial strategy and settlement negotiations.  From 2009 to 2010, Ms. Fazzolari was an adjunct professor for the Legal Research and Writing Department at New York Law School.

Ms. Fazzolari received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Boston University in 2001 and Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2005.  During law school, Ms. Fazzolari was awarded Best Oral Advocate and Brief Author in Appellate Advocacy.  Ms. Fazzolari was also a member of the Seton Hall Interscholastic Moot Court Team and competed in national competitions.  Her thesis paper, “Unconscionability Principles as a Method to Solving the Problem of Insurer Genetic Discrimination of BRCA1 and BRCA2 Carriers,” was nominated for Seton Hall’s Advanced Legal Writing Award.   Ms. Fazzolari also completed internships at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York, The Corporation Counsel in Washington, D.C., and Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts

Ms. Fazzolari is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
