Enrique Marinez

EXPERIENCE

Enrique Marinez is a partner in the Redwood City office and handles a broad range of complex commercial litigation involving products liability, unfair competition law, misappropriation of trade secrets, real estate transactions, insurance coverage and bad faith.

Mr. Marinez graduated from Occidental College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He graduated from Whittier College School of Law in 1992, cum laude, where he was a member and research editor of the Whittier Law Review. Mr. Marinez joined the firm in 1998 and was named a partner in 2002. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced six years with the Los Angeles County Public Defenders Office and the Monterey County Public Defenders Office, where he tried many cases to jury verdict. Mr. Marinez is currently co-chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee and Legal Advisor to the Bay Area Gardner’s Foundation, a non-profit organization providing scholarships to economically disadvantaged students seeking to attain higher education.

Mr. Marinez is a member of the State Bar of California. He is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California. Mr. Marinez currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Defense Counsel (ADC) of Northern California and Nevada, and is an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association. Mr. Marinez is fluent in Spanish.
