EXPERIENCE

Kimberly Whitfield is an Associate at the firm's San Jose office. Ms. Whitfield is a member of both the California State Bar (admitted 1995) and the Florida State Bar (admitted 2003). Ms. Whitfield handles transactional and litigation matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Her primary practice areas include general and civil litigation, focusing on personal injury, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage matters as well as commercial, environmental, corporate and business litigation. Ms. Whitfield is also versed in corporate transactional and estate planning matters.

Ms. Whitfield received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, in 1991. She obtained her JD from Southwestern University, School of Law, in Los Angeles, California in 1995. While at Southwestern University, Ms. Whitfield participated in the Moot Court Honors Program, representing the Administrative and Environmental Law Teams. Ms. Whitfield is licensed before all State Courts in California and Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Whitfield is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the San Jose Chamber of Commerce, and the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association.
