EXPERIENCE
Kirsten Schmidt is an associate in the Los Angeles office. In 2005, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Development Studies (with an emphasis on developing economies in Southeast Asia) from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2008, she received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
At USF, she participated in an Investor Justice Clinic. Through the Clinic, she investigated claims and represented investors with securities-related claims against banks, brokerage firms, and their employees. She gained further experience in this field through an internship with the Securities and Exchange Commission in San Francisco.
Ms. Schmidt's practice areas include Business and Intellectual Property Litigation. Her practice focuses on contract disputes, claims of copyright and trademark infringement, unfair competition, and product liability. In 2010, Ms. Schmidt was listed in the Southern California Super Lawyers Magazine-Rising Stars Edition.
