Lita M. Verrier

Lita M. Verrier focuses her practice on complex business and high-technology litigation, employer side employment, intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair competition, as well as employer disputes regarding same.  Advanced mediation and arbitration skills have allowed her to resolve cases quickly and efficiently including in multi-party construction cases and other commercial litigation.  Licensed in California and Massachusetts, Ms. Verrier has worked with businesses and high-tech companies throughout California and the East Coast with regard to all aspects of business disputes and employment, both as plaintiff and defendant and providing advice to companies regarding their intellectual property rights.

Ms. Verrier joined the San Jose RMKB office in 1995.  Having grown up in the Boston area, Ms. Verrier returned to New England and currently manages the RMKB office in Boston, which opened in 2007.  She received her undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of Business, at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated magna cum laude at Pepperdine University, School of Law. While she was at Pepperdine, Ms. Verrier was the Lead Articles Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review, and a Judicial Extern for Justice Arabian of the California Supreme Court.

Ms. Verrier was a Commissioner of the California Commission on Aging, appointed by Governor Pete Wilson.

She is a member of the Massachusetts and California State Bars, the Santa Clara County and American Bar Associations and is on the Executive Committee of ProVisors.  She is admitted to practice before all Massachusetts State Courts, the District Court of Massachusetts, all California State Courts, and the Northern, Southern, and Eastern District Courts of California, the U.S. District Court District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
