Michael J. Beler is an associate in the San Francisco office of Ropers Majeski Kohn & Bentley. Mr. Beler's practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation, premises liability, and product liability. Mr. Beler manages cases from inception to trial, utilizing extensive experience with written discovery, depositions, and expert discovery to achieve favorable results for his clients.

Mr. Beler received his Bachelor of Arts from Marist College in 2009, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. Beler received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2012, graduating cum laude. Mr. Beler was the Associate Executive Editor of the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy where he published an article concerning the blanket strip search policy for all arrestees entering the general jail population raised in Florence v. Board of Chosen Freedholders of the County of Burlington (16 Suffolk J. of Trial & App. Adv. 294 (2011)). He was also a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and a SPILG Public Service Fellow. During law school, Mr. Beler worked as a Student Attorney for the Middlesex District Attorney's Office and as a law clerk for a boutique law firm handling employment and immigration matters.

Prior to joining RMKB, Mr. Beler worked at a defense-side, California civil-litigation firm where he represented clients in toxic tort, complex, catastrophic personal injury, and employment matters. Mr. Beler took plaintiff, witness, and expert depositions; drafted and argued successful motions for summary judgment; prepared a number of cases for trial; and negotiated settlements. He has lived in the Bay Area for six years and is admitted to practice in California as well as before the United State District Courts of Northern California and Eastern California. During his free time, Mr. Beler enjoys skiing, surfing, and hiking in California and beyond.
