Michon M. Spinelli

Ms. Spinelli graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2000 with an International Law Certification after finishing externships in Vietnam and Singapore.  She attended the University of Southern California as an Undergraduate, graduating magna cum laude.

Following law school, Ms. Spinelli served as a law clerk at the Second Judicial District Court, State of Nevada and was admitted to practice in the states of California and Nevada.

After her clerkship, Ms. Spinelli returned to San Francisco to pursue her passion for trial work at a premier plaintiff's personal injury firm.  She tried her first jury trial three weeks later, and a few years later received her first multi-million dollar verdict following a six week jury trial in Napa County.

Since then she has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict throughout the Bay Area.  She represents clients in Federal District Courts and State Courts throughout Nevada and California.  She has been selected as a Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor limited to 2.5% of practicing attorneys under the age of 40.

Ms. Spinelli's practice focuses on insurance bad faith litigation, complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation, products liability, landlord tenant litigation, premises liability, and real estate litigation.

She is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Nevada, The McFetridge Inn of Court, the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association, and is past president of the Italian American Bar Association of Northern California.  Ms. Spinelli serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada (ADCNC), where she directed a six week training program for new lawyers and a law firm management program.  She has served as the Chair of the Business Litigation and Property Sections of that organization, and currently serves as the Education Chair.  As a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), she recently taught at the Litigation Management College, a program for claims handlers.  She also teaches an intensive two week trial advocacy class at USF.
